Our responsibility was to produce a specialized brake that could stand the test of time in a fully encapsulated nuclear environment and a smaller dimensional footprint while withstanding higher than normal holding torque values. Our engineering group at SEPAC was able to successfully design a brake that would outperform the stringent standards set forth by the customer.
